It's only not worth it if you don't want to have a chance at one of the best elk hunts of your life. Been there twice. Two of the best hunts and best bulls I've been on.
I'm still in the 7-year penalty box but will definitely be getting back in....whether it's "worth it" or not.
That was my first response as well. But judging by the photo I've seen, that mountain lion would have to eat about 5 of them in order for Fat Jimmy to be disappointed w/ his purchase.

I’d be asking for proof of my place in the draw. Would be interested to see what they would provide. Some of those ram hunters book hunts as soon as they are drawn with Lewton, Dog Creek etc.
