I didn't even think about a kerosene heater. I might not even need anything this year. It's almost flip flop weather here in NC. I'm heading to charleston,sc area over my holiday break and it's going to be in the 70's go figure.
I am a new big tent owner, I wanted a barebones wall tent instead of a canvas wall tent. I ended up with cabelas alanak 12x12.
I just bought me a goal zero Sherpa 50 with a Led light. I am planning on getting the solar panel for it soon. So far it was been nice to have.
So.... I have finally purchased a big comfy tent the (cabelas Alaknak 12x12) that I will be using for car camping. I would like to get a wood stove for it. Does anyone have any feedback as to what a good stove would be? I have seen the ones that cabelas recommends, I have seen the smaller ones...
I'm not sure about the sashimi part. Not that I'm against it. I don't know if it's safe to eat like that. I guess I'm saying I don't know how to prepare it. Well hell.... I did a preview of the post and the pictures was right side up. I just looked at them and they are all jacked up.. Ugh.
I had a short window (2 days) to take a short trip to Buxton on 9/13. I arrived in town right at dark, I had the pleasure of setting up the new tent ( 2nd trip) with the mosquitos and unpacking and getting settled in and to get ready for the next morning. I slept fairly good considering there...

I have found looking on Craigslist worked well for me. I bought 1 yeti from a smaller retail place and asked for a cash discount, that's saved me some $$
