Its really weather dependent - I'm assuming your focusing on elk and not deer. I've been out when 2nd was better and vice versa. Id say generally that 3rd tends to be better but you just never know. Colorado 4th Season
I and 5 others were South of Craig for Season 4! Got 5 elk total and seen quite a few. Certainly a unusual year compared to others. The snow we got didn't move the elk generally speaking.
