Lost & Found In A Border Town
If you have the serial # and report the gun lost/stolen, the agency taking the report can enter the serial # into NCIC. If it's recovered, you'll be able to get it back.- PennDude

Family Camping
If BWCA is a bucket list item, try out Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. It has a very similar landscape to BWCA and is just an incredibly beautiful landscape and the fishing is incredible. 8 hours from State College, PA.- PennDude

Tips for getting in shape for backcountry

On X Maps question
My issue was on a Nexus 6P and the GPS just would not work. Not with any app. I'm not sure what the issue was there. I had even downloaded maps. I'm going to buy the chip for my state and check out the phone app as well. Thanks for the comments.- PennDude

Keeping and edge...
I use a Spyderco Sharpmaker to sharpen all of my knives, kitchen and field. I follow up the Sharpmaker with a leather strop. Having never killed anything larger than a whitetail, I've never needed to touch up a blade in the field. -

Muskrats - It's what's for dinner
I love to see posts like this. I'm a big proponent of "non-traditional" table fare. Beaver is excellent, especially the back straps. I liken beaver back straps to dry aged beef.
