Preface: Please excuse this post if redundant. I did a cursory search on here and didn't find anything specific.
Are lifetime license holders in Idaho that have since become non-residents restricted to limited non-resident "OTC" tags?
I know you have to pay NR tag fees and get a non-resident...
Absolutely correct, I made a weak attempt to allude to that by just saying "another step forward." I was only keeping the thread current, I thought it would be instructive for members to see which senators would show up for a 1 am vote as well.
Another step forward.

Sage advice above!
My opinion:
4 with a camp.
My advice for the first time you're solo is to make sure you have at least 30% more time per mile than you think you need before you take the shot. Also, snow makes everything except meat care more difficult/time consuming...
You'll have to forgive my unfortunate assumption that the picture you displayed was a public land CSP installation such as Ivahpah or Crescent Dunes. Neither of those locations are quality habitat for mule deer. With respect to solana, it's a private land development that derives much of its...
SG fanboy here.
Sky Talus w/xcurve-2 years. After adjusting shoulder straps as indicated in one of their videos, it's the best load-bearing pack I've ever had on. I think it's the ability to rotate the shoulder straps outward some that makes the difference and prevents rubbing on my...
Logistically, it's more challenging to get to the majority of BLM lands from Grand Junction than DC, even if you exclude AK. I've not seen a compelling argument on this thread as to the tangible benefits of this move besides the red herring of spending less on people's salaries(as if that...
Seriously rough country! Rivals the Frank I think. Weather/access can get hairy along the selway in the November season. I've seen animals in there though. Lot of horse trailers at the trailheads. Access from the west of 16a (elk city area) maybe better in the earlier season idk.
I just bought a Copper Spur 2p, and instead of buying the footprint for 70-80 I'm buying fabric and will cut to size, stitch the border and put in grommets myself. Looking like $25-30 altogether for a 5-6 ounce setup. I personally think the footprint is an absolute necessity.
Find a mountain range in the unit, drive up a road till you're about 500-1000 ft off the valley floor. Get out and start walking along the mountain range, glassing down into the creases and folds keeping in mind water is usually the limiting factor. I find that you can waste a lot of gas and see...
