Hunting Boots
I picked up a pair of lowas and love them, but did so back in February. If you're talking about picking up boots for a hunt in a few weeks / month, be mentally prepared to have torn up feet. Proper boots need 40-50 miles of hike to break in properly. My best advice is to stock up on lukotape. -

That's good to hear! I'm heading out to unit 28 in 3 weeks and have been worried about smoke and visibility. I've got a B tag and a wolf tag burning a hole in my pocket, and I was hoping the fires wouldn't be the reason I came up short. Thank you for the report!! -
