Weller Antique and Whistlepig 10 are 2 of my favorites but there are soo many good whiskies around the $20 mark. One I haven’t seen listed yet is Old Forester 100 (orange label) it’s a really good value imo

I take a 150qt igloo full of ice and a 55qt food cooler. I can usually fit a quartered elk (bone in) in the 150 and have the 55 for any overflow if needed. This seems to work well. I’m not sure about boned out...

I’m confused, did anyone on this thread say a 25-06 wouldn’t kill an elk? My point is that a 25-06 is on the lighter side for elk and that shot placement better be perfect.
