Has anyone out there been on a mule deer hunt in the Metcalf WMA in Nebraska about 12 N of hay Springs. I am trying to identify if there is a muley population there. I have hunted in that area close to Chadron and taken one in 2006. THere is so much public land there I was trying to get away from the crowd. Also, they have incorporated some private land next to Metcalf. Also, can anyone give me a lead on a group of muleys. I know there are whittail in and around Chadron and Crawford, but looking for Muleys. Has anyone been to Oglala grasslands.
