Hi folks,
Looking for some general info on units 319 and 332. I've hunted in 270 and 334 before so somewhat familiar with the area.
The Pintler region of 319 looks like it might be hard to access due to all the private land on the southern boundary. I noticed there is one campground on the southern fringe of the range and assuming that would be accessible. In general, are the roads in from the valley open to the public? Do most people come in from the north? Also looks like access in the Beaverhead portion is limited to a few spots where BLM reaches down to the road. Is that an accurate assumption? Is the road access closed during hunting season?
Unit 332 Looks like it has pretty good access from the Wise River valley, the south and the north, but is limited to a single road from the west. Is that about right? We like to hike in and spike camp away from the roads, are most of the roads to the wilderness study area closed during hunting season?
We won't be able to make opening week this year, how is the hunting pressure there after the opening week? How much pressure does the central part of 332 get?
