Long time forum reader and now an official new member, decided it was officially time to be a contributing member of this great forum. Originally from Central Illinois but have been going where Uncle Sam has told me to go the past 6 years, including on the other side of the world now.
Went to Colorado last year with my Dad for the first time during 2nd season on an OTC hunt, been talking about it and preparing for years and our schedules finally allowed us to get out there and give it a shot! Came home empty handed but saw some cows and even more other friendly hunters. Enjoyed putting some serious miles in up and down the hills. Fortunate to be able to go again this October and can't wait to get back out there and use what we learned last year to put some meat in the freezer! If anyone needs a Sherpa this fall let me know, hiking with weight is a required skill you learn to love as a grunt!
