I'm still working on getting my first elk, and keep going back and forth between Colorado and Idaho. This will be my third attempt (all archery) at any legal animal. In doing some digging, I've found some areas in this unit that look appealing. Seems like this unit seems some significant pressure, so hopefully some hiking will get me away from crowds. Anybody have any idea if a guy can expect to get cell service anywhere in this unit? Also, how hard is it to come by water here? If anyone has experience here and is willing to PM with me about the area I'm looking at, it would be much appreciated.
