Hey folks,

Are there any resources here, or elsewhere, like a beginner's guide to mounting your own scope? I'll be purchasing a scope (not sure what yet, but that's another conversation) for a new rifle and would like to learn how to mount the scope myself. I found this kit on Amazon that seems to be a good starting point: https://www.amazon.com/Wheeler-Scop...278946&sr=8-4&keywords=gunsmith+torque+wrench

Any advice on docs/videos/threads or anything else regarding the topic would be much appreciated!

We do all our own scope mounts never had a issue or hard time make sure u use a inch pounds wrench for tightening to specs. The hardest part I think is getting cross hairs level usually different torque specs for rings and mounts good luck.

I used the above mentioned video from Randy to mount my first scope recently. I followed his methods exactly and it worked great. Looking back, I feel silly that I was intimidated to do so in the past.

I've had enough scopes mounted half azzed to pay for several Wheeler kits.
