After drawing my archery ibex tag I can't think of anything else, even though I probably bit off a little more than I can chew being fairly new to the archery game. These animals are way too cool, and live in some awesome country. I found this website that has a pretty cool video of these ibex. Thought some people might enjoy watching it (although maybe not as much as me right now :D ).

I hear ya, Moosie. I really don't expect to fill a tag on this hunt, but I'll spend 10 incredible days trying to. I think it's just going to be an awesome experience no matter what. The archery hunt was my 3rd choice behind rifle and muzzie, but with the draw odds the way they are, I'll take what I can get. Besides... I got nothing else to do in January :D .

nmtaxi,
I hunted Ibex a few years ago with muzzloader, they are a blast to hunt. I didn't get one as I saw some awsome billies and passed on smaller critters. I had so much fun shooting video that I didn't feel like I had to kill one to have a great hunt. Someday hopefully I'll draw a rifle tag and finally seal the deal. Have fun, I did.

Great Video! Thanks. I applied for Ibex but received the Unsuccessful. I'd love to hunt them some year.

Awsome. Ibex has to be one of the most incredible animals on earth, IMO. I too dream about someday hunting these critters. What an opportunity. Good luck on bowhunting Ibex this season. I believe Patrick Meitin (writer) took one with his bow in NM. I would be calling him to pick his brain. Try this for a pic. http://www.trophyphotos.com/imagedetail.php?photoid=548 85 yard shot!!!
