Which ones suck and which ones are good? Digital I'm assuming would be best, would like to get hundreds of pictures, leave it out for a month or so in varying conditions.

I have a homebrew cam, so I can't speak from personal experience, but I keep hearing great things about the cuddeback cam. They are advertising the hell out of them on the hunting channel as well.

GHorn- Talk to iminrut, I think he's tried/gone through a few different models and posted quite a few whitey pics from his honey hole that looked pretty good.

I have bought some and built some over the last 6 years.

My wife or santa, I'm not sure which gave me a leaf river digital (+/-$250)

The first time I set it up I put in a 1gig card and picked up nearly 1,200 pics a month later .......... I had no idea how bad the film cameras spook whitetails till I saw 5 different mature buck in this batch of photos.

It makes no audible sound and the box is well camo-ed so it is easy to hide.
Hopefully it will be useful on the NM bow hunt in sept!
either way it should be fun!
