It has already been approved by the MT FWP Commission and now awaits approval from the Land Board.

That guy would dissent on anything that enables the public to enjoy property that could be used exclusively for agriculture.

Yeah Knudsen sucks. Good for the land board. Gianforte is surprising to the upside in land acquisitions so far. Good for him

Just listened to the meeting and Knudsen's dissent was based on his concern over access and a potential lawsuit. To paraphrase, he's seen too many oxbow properties go to court and wants secure access before voting yes. One amusing exchange included Knudsen saying his office has only known about this for two and a half weeks, and Gov. Gianforte responding, with all due respect, that their offices had been working together for at least six months. Maybe listening a bit too much into it, but the Gov seemed to think Knudsen was being a bit disingenuous throughout the hearing.
