Thoughts on this scope to shoot 5-600 yards?

What are your thoughts on the Vortex Diamondback HP 4-16x42mm for putting on my 7mm to shoot around 5-600 yards accurately?

I bought the same exact model and its currently on my Browning 300. I am very happy with it and I shoot out to 500 regularly with it. Seems to be very well made and so far no complaints.

Thoughts? I'd go Leupold VX-2 in that price range. mtmuley

I have two diamond 4-16 hp's. One is on a 300 win mag, the other is on a 30-06 i have to my father in law. He absolutely loves it, a combo of the 16power (came from a 3-9 Leupold) and the brighter view. His will be going on an elk hunt in mid October and mine has been through two seasons. I don't dial anything with this scope so I can't speak to its tracking, but it has been bully proof for me here in Colorado.
