Your stuff looks great. It's a dream worth chasing.
I've been a commercial photographer for a long time. It started with a dream of being an outdoor photographer. But I had two kids to raise and the commercial work fit my economic and family needs. I love what I do. I meet extraordinary people, travel and work with some great clients. I live life my way and don't ever feel like I have a "job". It's a great lifestyle if it fits you. I work hard and I play hard.
Now that my kids are grown and gone (off to Bozeman!) I have more time to chase the outdoor thing. But, truthfully, when I am out there I am happy to have my fly rod, bow or rifle in my hand and step away from work. It's all about balance.

Best of luck. Remember, if it was easy everybody would do it. It's not easy at all. In fact it's very difficult. Kinda like elk hunting. But it's worth the effort when you succeed.
