I'm looking for someone to do a little bear hunting with in NC. I'm new to the area and just need a little help.

Mountains or coast? I also live in NC. I`ve seen tons of bears at the coast (Pungo Refuge) but were unable to hunt them for obvious reasons (refuge). I also want to hunt them but want to without a guide. If I were to use a guide it would be Conman`s guide service (Mike Noles) near the Pungo, super guy!
There are several thousand acres of public land near there and there are tons of bear on it but it is so thick it is hard to crawl through.

x2 on Conman's. I went Swan hunting with him a couple of years ago. Great outfit and Andy was a great guide.
