Looking to upgrade bow

I have a 2004 Bowtech Patriot and it is time to upgrade(and then some). Let’s here your opinions. I know there is plenty of info on this subject, I need your experience with archery equipment to get me headed in the right direction.

Find a reputable shop and try out a few different models. There are lots of good options out there...the decision is mostly one of personal preference on things like shorter vs. longer axle-to-axle length, faster/harsher vs. slower/smoother cam design, aluminum vs. carbon riser.
