Kentucky elk

@Big Fin I listened to the elk talk episode where you shared your Kentucky sweepstakes hunt story. I too had the privilege to hunt elk in Kentucky this fall during the archery season, also unsuccessful but it seems you guys had just as much fun as I did. You mentioned that you were cautioned ahead of time about how difficult the hunt may be. I too was able to learn a ton of insight into the status of the Kentucky elk herd from some very reliable "boots on the ground" sources. Just out of investigative curiosity, would you be willing to provide a little more detail on what exactly you were wanted about and by whom? I'd be interested to know how similar, or perhaps different my information is.
