Kansas deer season

Shot this mule deer on Wednesday with my muzzle loader. He's a little busted up and wouldn't score real well but I thought he would work just fine. He busted the front half of his right side off, and has a sticker on the back of the other side. It was less than 50 yard shot.

Nice job! What part of the state, don't be real specific(east or west unit). I assume if you used a muzzle you hunted in Sept as well.

Well done Brisco, hopefully I'll be back out there next year. I hunted Friday, Sat, and Sunday and it was brutal. Most of the movement was right at dusk and dawn and had a pretty good nine I had to look over several times before letting him walk.

I hunt the west units. It was brutally cold for Kansas. We jumped him up out of his bed about ten in the morning.
