Genetics and Predicting the Future

I was curious about what I would find about 100-inch antelope. Not saying this isn't true, but it is interesting.

We offer rifle, muzzle loader, and archery pronghorn hunts in Arizona. Like the elk and buffalo, Arizona's antelope dominate the top places in the record books. I know of TWO bucks in the state that will score better than 100 inches. There has NEVER been a pronghorn antelope in recorded history to brake the 100 inch mark. Antelope are VERY light boned animals, which aids in their renowned speed, but this also makes them very delicate. So if you don’t exactly hit him where you were aiming, you can be pretty sure that you’ll recover your buck

SCI scoring?

Eli- That's is what I was thinking, but it appears that I may be off.

SM- Release of vegetation can sorta be predicting using moisture/temps depending on the type of plant. Lots of models out there for ag crops.

sturge: No, I haven't. I'm looking for past survey booklets right now. I see the 2005-2009 survey is online, but is there any way to get the older stuff online?

If you can find the '05, it goes back 5 years. I think I have the hard copy of '05 laying around here somewhere. I dont know where to find old ones online.

I just found the 2006 book on my shelf. So, I'll have from 2001-2009. I know I have older ones around here somewhere, but I can't find them at the moment.

Buck was taken in 1986. I'm guessing it was born in 1983. That year there was another buck taken in the same spot that scored over 94.
