Daughter killed her first elk in New Mexico. Climbed to 8500’ to get within 250 yards and she piled it up with her 300WSM. It was an incredible hunt for us.

Guide thought 9-10 years old. Sent 2 teeth in. We shall see.

Cow Elk double in November with my fiance at the time (now wife). 300 Win Mag with 180 gr solid coppers. She shot first and dropped her cow at 330 yards. I then got on the gun and dropped another cow at 400 yards. Was one for the memory books and resulted in lots of tasty sausage, bratwurst, steaks, and roasts.

A couple of Montana bulls. Both Otc, the one with a rifle was public land and the archery bull was on private.
