It will be pretty dang busy there. Depending on the season doesn't matter. Get well away from the road. Its steep up there.

That trailhead has a horse campground nearby, and is a major destination for a lot of trail riders and backpackers. The trail riders will usually ride further than the the backpackers, and also do pack trips there. I don't know if an Outfitter unloads there, but most of that area in the Weminuche Wilderness is in Colorado's trophy unit 76.
So, if it were me, and I was planning to hunt that area, I'd be trying to focus on areas that the average joe doesn't go. Not always easy, when you're dealing with some steep country and some long hauls to get into areas far from where people have been recreating.
