This little bastard has been going into the cat house and stealing food. Trying to figure a way to trap him without getting a cat.

Catch him in a live trap, i have caught young fox in a live trap. I am sure you can catch him.

A cable restraint will do it. Cat is small enough it will get out when it hits the lock.
