Albino mallard duck

I was at the lake a few days ago doing some fishing, and saw this duck. I’ve never heard of a duck being albino, so super cool to see. I’m pretty sure this is a female but I may be wrong

Does not appear to be an albino. Just a pigment difference. Happens with farms ducks.

Nah, Mallards cross breed with domestic ducks (and other wild duck species too), making for some very odd looking ducks mixed in with regular plumage mallard groups

true albinos have pink eyes. this one's eyes look dark. WIld mallards mix in with domestics at our city park and we see some very wild combinations.

Few bites. Nothing in the bucket though.

After seeing what mallard drakes do to hens I'm not surprised there aren't crossbreeds with gophers
