Help me pick a bag
I'm currently running a Longbow and I like it so far. I'm really wanting to start pulling some overnighters and 3ish day hunts bivy/backpack style. So my 2 elk hunts have been first season archery hunts here in southern NM. I'm trying to get my crap together to start heading to Colorado for the late rifle hunts on a regular basis. 150gr for elk?
A friend and I have a cow hunt this fall. This will be his first elk hunt and my first elk hunt with a rifle. He shoots an .06 and is setup with 150gr Corelokts. Grand Mesa lakes?
Anyone spent anytime fishing the lakes on the Grand Mesa up in CO? Some friends are wanting to plan a fishing trip next year and we're between the Pecos Wilderness and Grand Mesa.
