The Environmental Impact Statement Documents are available for your reading pleasure, and the comment period is open for the next few weeks as to what the future of Yellowstone Bison Management can look like. This is a good opportunity for us as hunters to express our desires, such as increasing the use of Hunter Harvest to manage populations.

Finally put in my comment. Reading the Draft EIS is a bit of a bear, but my preference is management alternative #3 that prioritizes hunting, minimizes shipment of bison for slaughter, while allowing the continuation of BCTP and brucellosis adaptive management without putting cattle first in the BISON management plan.

I'm hoping for a cooperative Montana governor's office for this option.
