Wy Area 1

Has anyone hunted wyoming's area 1? looking for any tips or ideas.

If you bought a tag without getting set up to hunt on a private ranch in that unit, you're going to have a tough time. There is very little legally accessible public land in that unit. That's why it has that difficult access designation on the G&F website and why even though there aren't very many tags issued for the unit there are still some leftover tags that haven't been sold. I'd suggest you contact the nearest G&F Office out there to see if they might have a list of ranchers in the unit that allow access for a fee. Good luck!

Thanks, I have access with one rancher so far. But when I applied area 1 was my second choice. I live in Sundance so it is only a 30 min drive. And this is my first time hunting these speed goats so I wanted something close to home so I can get out more on my days off from work.
