Wingbone Calls

Has anyone ever made one and if so, how did it turn out?

I have never made one, but if I happen to kill a jake this year I am going to try it. I have heard the big gobbler's wingbones don't sound very good. They say a jakes or a hen's works best.

Wish I could help. I've never done it either, but have heard the same thin about the hens being best to use. I saw an article once that described how to do it, but I don't remember where it is.

i have made one it hangs on my mirror in my truck....works good but lets say this ...it looks good from afar but it's far from good!!!

i've got another set of bones in the pot upstairs as we speak...so i'll let you know how this one turns out....
