Unit 61 Wyoming

I didn't get much response to my first thread, so I'll try a different approach. Has anyone ever hunted the late season cow hunt in unit 61 south of Cody, or any of the other areas open for that permit? I will be going in January and hopefully, there will be a lot of snow in the mountains to push the elk low. Any pointers would be appreciated. At least the grizzlies should be asleep!

you picked the right year, unusual snow year so far. pm me i know a couple placed to get a cow.

Thanks, Magicman. I think that I have it pretty well covered, but I am trying to gather all the info that I can come up with. I don't foresee much problem, unless I am in the middle of a 9-day blizzard or something!
