Salmon Cheeks

Moosie ; Just to show you I wasn't funning with you here's the recipe for the cheeks.
Remove the cheeks from your fresh salmon(or any large fish)(halibut,trout,pike)
Soak in good cold salt and water(to remove any blood)overnight
Rinse and pat dry
Cut some bacon to wrap around the cheeks
Mix flower and cornmeal(4 parts flower to 1 part cornmeal)
Dash of garlic,and onion powder
Wrap bacon around cheeks and hold on place with a toothpick
Cover cheeks with flower and cornmeal mix
Fry in bacon grease until good and brown
Salt and pepper to taste.
Enjoy

Not at all, Moosie. When I'm fishing in Newfoundland I love the local cod cheeks! It's a Newfie delicacy. The ears are pretty good, too!
