I have found that if you use the 30 minute marinades that they sell in your local supermarket (by the BBQ sauces, etc....) They work wonders with deer and elk. And the rest of the meat that you like to eat.

I also cook my elk and deer like you would liver and onions but add plenty of garlic and herbs also.
