Just came here to say that this episode was awesome to listen to. I have an hour commute and I put on the headphones, sat back, and closed my eyes. It felt like I was right with you guys throughout the entire hunt. The 3 of you articulated it very well, and in podcast form it gives it a more unique feel since the brain paints it's own view of the terrain and scenery. Good stuff, can't wait to see the episode.

That was a very enjoyable episode. I am interested in the nitty gritty details of tough, real world hunts and this episode delivered that. What really hit home was the talk regarding the mental aspects of elk hunting. I have been beating myself up over this year's hunt and the mental aspect really resonated with me.

The Butt-out tool works great for deer and smaller critters, not so much for elk.
