I live in Idaho,but I am taking my Grandson on a Cow Elk hunt in unit 46 Murders creek unit lying W of Hwy 395.in the State of Oregon This is his youth hunt and I am unfamiliar with the unit I will be doing some scouting in advance of season, has anyone out there hunted this unit in late Nov, if so I would greatly appreciate any specific areas you would recomend to scout out before my grandsons hunt.
