New Mexico Velvet Mulie

Here is a picture of a mulie a freind of mine shot in New Mexico yesterday. He and my dad were working their way through a patch of timber when dad jumped three nice bucks. He couldn't get a shot, but they went right in front of his partner. Tall and wide, heavy as well. They said his teeth were almost gone they were so worn out. One day left, dad is hoping to find one of the other two with this one.

It was all on public land. I don't think that New Mexico has a point system, but I could be wrong. I know Arizona does as that is where I apply. Am starting to think more about New Mexico though.
