Little guy and a trout

Took the little man out yesterday to a pond they just stocked last week. They put in 1000 fish of which 25 were around 2 lbs. Lucky guy caught one of them. He was very proud of himself as I didn't help him cast, set hook or reel in any fish. The only thing I had to do was tighten his drag when he hooked the big one since most of the fish we have caught here in the past aren't a half pound. A happy little camper.

A few years down the road those pictures are going to bring back a flood of memories. My youngest is graduating from high school and the church does a senior recognition dinner and pictures evening, going through photos for that the other night I found pics of my son about that same age with his trout from the Tucannon ponds, great memories. Is that one of the ponds along the Touchet River?
