Got up into the mountains this morning for the final scouting trip before muzzle season opens. I have all ready filled my tag with the bow so I will just be tagging along for the fun and to watch the shot. Was an awesome morning, here is a picture about a mile and a half into the climb.
It is always amazing to me that the bucks are 2 miles off of the roads. After I watched this little guy a while and got some pictures, looked at the gps. 1.97 miles from the pick up. Anyone else notice that this seems to be the magic number?
Continued to climb to the top and was able to glass for a few hours. All in all saw 6 bucks, nothing great but hey I enjoyed my self, and made it back to work before noon even though I had no urge to be there.
