hunting in colstrip.

Hey guys need to ask a question. My wife might be taking a job in colstrip mt working for PPL.. Hows the hunting out there? Is there decent public land? I am a little worried about the hunting out there,

The deer hunting is pretty good. Public land access is really good in some areas and really poor in others. I'll let someone else chime in on the elk hunting, as I imagine it has changed a lot since I was there last. 15 years ago it was pretty spotty and could be really dependent upon access. I don't know if that as since changed or if numbers are still about the same.

The turkey hunting is good. Fishing at Tongue Reservoir is very good. Waterfowl hunting on the Yellowstone can be very good.
