I was surveying a little creek the other day and this guy was feeding and oblivious, till my buddy stumbled up behind me. I'll be lookin for him next spring!!

Here's a wolf killed elk we found too. First I've found. And no, I have no real proof its wolf killed, just an educated guestimate.

I have run across a number of messes like this out in the hills...

I wasn't sure if it was just a dead animal the scavengers picked clean or other....

I think I will start looking close at whats left and see if one can decern teeth marks...

Might be kinda fun...

Yeah, it closed in that spot May 31. I was there just a couple days after!! There are other areas open till June 30 though!
