I'm down to these two 180gr loads for my 30-06. I've watched the Federal video and my gunsmith, who's an experienced big game hunter recommended the TBT, but at the range today those Barnes shoot so well...I can't shoot much better than this...F3636E89-4165-4F75-957C-4457313BC1D8.jpeg

Nothing wrong with either. My .308 really shoots the TBT well, but I can't get that bullet to group in my .270's. I've shot a few big game critters with the TBT and think it's a pretty outstanding bullet. Don't have any experience with Barnes except at the range, where they shoot great, but a good friend of mine is a Barnes enthusiast. I've seen him tip over a couple elk with them in his 300WM. They do the job too. Like others have said, shoot the one your rifle likes. You won't go wrong with either.

No brainer. Door #2. I wouldn't give that decision a second thought at all.

I’d have a really hard time shooting the ones on the left if the ones on the right were available.
