Drizzly day in the desert

Spent a damp afternoon chasing gambels near home with my friend Steve and his labs.

Gray, light mist, 55* BRRR!

Good to see water drops on the mesquite

WET! No way to treat a 91 year old Winchester

Where there is quail poop there should be quail nearby

Yippee! There are some

Steve and his labs move on some birds

Desert is starting to green up, there's hope for next year

Steve ended up with a half-dozen

A couple of hours hike, about three miles in the rain, three birds in the bag, one lost and several misses and I'm a happy old man
