Same, but the quality seems to be getting worse each time I order more....

If you strike out finding a used one, the $75 one off lion country is okay but doesn't index worth anything. I limped along putting new 209s in or justing pulling the trigger until it found a fresh primer. Gave it to a buddy and bought the $100 kimar for the new dog. That one only holds 5 but it indexes just fine.

It is a bad deal the the NEF starter pistol is no longer made. I bought one a good while ago. It will easily outlast me. Ramset blanks made a good loud bang for the buck.

Since none of my children/grandchildren will likely want it, when my bird dog habit ends, I'll give it to some one young whom I know will use it.
