Colorado GMU #81 for Rifle Hunting ?

I have a chance to rifle hunt a Bull on a private ranch in Colorado Unit 81, West of Hwy 17. The Ranch is North of Chama, NM, and is along the NM / Co State line. The back of the Ranch runs along the fenceline near the Sargent Wildlife Management Area. Hunt dates are Oct 17th thru the 21st.

Has anyone hunted in this area, or at least have any knowledge about it??

Ive bowhunted there several years, but its been years since I did. I saw some good bulls and a big butt load of deer. I saw three deer that were freaking huge! I saw tons of hunters too, but that was on public land. I wish I had some current info for ya. I say go for it.

I have some friends that have been discussing a very similar place, maybe even the same place, for a 2016 hunt. I think some friends or family of theirs had hunted it and had a good time. Will be interested to hear how it goes if you do it.

I will certainly post the results of my hunt. I booked the hunt with the outfitter, and am waiting for the contract, etc so that I can mail my deposit.
