I have never seen many badgers, but that changed this last weekend! My dad and I sat over one of our ponds that hasn't been holding water very long the last few years to see if we could see any nice deer. When I looked down at the pond, I was surprised to see a badger in it! It came out and started digging above the pond. After 10 or 15 minutes, it caught what it was after! I can't believe the efficiency of these hunters. We had noticed the pond looked like it was getting washed out on the back side. Apparently the badgers are the cause of this washout as this one headed back to where the washout is. A while later it came back out..with another badger. It was pretty neat to see the two playing.

Cool. Thanks for sharing.

I had a badger wander through my deer camp last year. For being so low to the ground, they can move really fast.

Here's one I slipped up on in Wyoming last year and got this picture when he looked out to see what the noise near his hole was!
