Carl told me you used to deer hunt when y'all were stationed back at Lejeune. You still do it?

We moved in with Daddy about a year ago, and have been trying to get the old homeplace fixed back up. Well, I planted a nice ornimental garden out back last spring. About 2 weeks ago we've had this d@mn deer coming in and it's chewing it up! Can you come up here and git rid of it?

Yeah. It has 'big horns' and scares me because it's kinda aggressive.

Well Sus, it will probaly just go away in a couple weeks.

Ok, OK, I'll drive up on Sat. and see what's going on.....
Yep, garden is trash. Easy to figure out where 'horned deer' is coming in.
Tell Carl and Sus to go out to dinner and not come back until about a hour after dark.
So I put up a quick lock-on stand about 100 yds back into the woods and wait. Didn't take long.
About 30 min before sunset "horned deer" comes prancing along like nobodys business. He's had the run of the farm for too long.
30 yd shot with the 44 Mag and there's a nice 9 pt NOT chewing on the garden anymore !
