Client brought us the head of this huge bull for euro mount. However, after skinning we discovered the nose bones were badly broken. To keep its head lifted up they looped a half hitch over nose when dragging it out. Had they knotted the rope better the nose probably would not have been damaged. Maybe we could have fixed it but couldn't make any guarantees and client would have to pay for euro attempt even if it didn't work out (moose euros are very expensive because their horn position makes them a giant pain in the arse). So he opted to just go with a cap mount. He also brought in the .308 casing and bullet that killed the bull. "Maybe you can doing something with it?" Fortunately the base of the bullet was not badly deformed and it easily slipped back inside the casing. I mounted it with one screw from the back of the plaque. Interesting. 20210306_122129.jpg20210306_122331.jpg
