Well, with only 2 days left in the Spring season, I decided to end it a couple days short. Decided to take a nice meat bear as my second bear of the year. Was hoping to find another monster, just brown this time. Only saw one legal brown all season and it was a dink. Oh well, I have enough big hides in the freezer anyways. 
Saw this 5'8" black only 5 mins after seeing a cow moose with only one new calf and a lot of bear $hit around them. This sow might have just been in the wrong place at the wrong time but there is now one less calf/fawn killing machine out there. Wanted to have some good bear meat for the freezer anyways. Saw several blacks bigger than this one but with the season winding down I figured it's time to end it.
