Rimfire Rifle Recommendations
The Rem 700 footprint is very nice. I tossed a TriggerTech Diamond in it and it was a very nice upgrade over the factory trigger. I was contemplating the CZ 457 or Tikka T1x, but they just felt like small rifles given the bolt and action size. -
Seating Depth Increments?

Broke down today
The 1:8 really opens up opportunities if you handload. Unfortunately, I’m not really aware of factory 22-250 ammo that’s heavier than like a 60 grainer. That being said, a 55 gr Vmax or Btip is tough to beat! -
Arbitrary Hunting Goals
I wouldn't say I've had specific goals in mind, but a bighorn sheep has always been on my radar. Hoping to strike gold and draw a tag, but thinking I may just do a guided hunt at some point in the next 5-10 years. I love deer and elk hunting, but feel like a sheep hunt would be an awesome challenge.- Waspocrew

I have too many options, but the top contenders would are: - 338 RUM shooting 285 gr ELDM or the new 245 HHT - 7 SAUM shooting 175 Berger - 6.5 PRC shooting 140 hybrid -

throwing good app money after bad and repeat
You’ll never draw if you don’t apply - but it sure does add up after a while. Like others mentioned, with Idaho’s convenience fee, it’s about $300 I won’t get back just for a moose app. I’ve considered just saving and purchasing tags down the road, like a BC mountain goat, etc.- Waspocrew
