    Stealthcam problems?

I have a couple of lower end stealth cams that have very little use ion them and are less than two years old. They both quit powering on simultaneously, which I thought was bizarre. I get online to troubleshoot them and noticed a lot of people have had similar experience. I wonder if they dont...

    Setting up…

follow your spine chart to your draw weight and that will give you the arrows you need. Id invest in a larger target for beginners as you will undoubtedly be losing some arrows. Thats kind of part of it though. You dont golf without losing some golf balls.

    Bear baiting question

So I'm running dog food, stale bread, and spent fryer oil with a scent additive in my barrel. I've been battling getting bears to come in consistently, so my thought was i was going to take the scented fryer oil and spray it in the tree tops above my bait site with a small weed sprayer. Well...

Excluding Hunting/Hunters from Wildlife Management - Episode 1 of 4

Amen, we need more people on our side desperately. The woods are crowded, its frustrating.. however we are a minority of the population by large.

Excluding Hunting/Hunters from Wildlife Management - Episode 1 of 4

Ya, that is probably correct. Guess I'm just grasping at straws to find solutions to an obviously biased system. I cant help but to think any new governor Washington will put in place will be any better. They will probably be worse (not sure how that is possible). Its dis heartening to see our...

Excluding Hunting/Hunters from Wildlife Management - Episode 1 of 4

Listened to the Kim Thorburn episode recently. It raises some very concerning issues, especially the science for hire aspect related to the cancelled spring bear hunt here in Washington. Seems like the opposition to hunting and especially predator hunting is willing to stop at nothing, including...

    Idaho 2024- start %itching now

I normally am wading into the frey Dec 1st. However this year I will probably go for a mule deer tag in Idaho, but not elk. I am strongly considering burning my 5 points in Wyoming for an elk hunt his year. Correct me if I am wrong but, anything much more than 4 or 5 points in Wyoming seems to...

    Rookie from Eastern Washington

I did a lot of time in the Elk woods. September was a hard grind for me. I hunted really hard and had about 3 different bulls bugling inside of 100 yards or so. I just couldnt seem to connect on one. Things just kinda kept falling apart in the setup as they often do. Im super thankful for the...

How did you take up hunting?

Grandparents had a 350 plus acre farm in the midwest growing up. Fondest memories of my life were sitting on a bucket in a homemade tree stand waiting for a big ol white tail to come cruising through pushing some does out of a thicket. I didnt realize how fortunate I was at the time, was just...
